Gardening is a wonderful metaphor for language learning and the future. Both need exploration, imagination and creativity, planting seeds, and nurturing to flourish.

I also want to create a counter-image of the future to the usual hyper– technological ones.

Let’s tend the futures garden together.

Futurist Qualifications & Memberships

Nergiz is a member of the Association of Professional Futurists (APF). She has a certificate from The Institute for the Future for the 5-course Futures Thinking Specialisation with Jane McGonigal. She is also certified by the Center for Future Intelligence and Research at Tamkang University for completing the ‘Becoming a Futurist’ course by Sohail Inayatullah (UNESCO Chair in Futures Studies), and submitting a research paper.
